we won't, because the rest of the world has not figured out how to count consoles yet, there never are and never have been any official numbers for "the rest of the world". Besides, if PS3 is having "shortages" here, then wouldn't they be having them everywhere?
360 is a beast! I knew this would happen in the end, 360 is going to be the PS2 of this gen, in the long run it will catch even the wii when the 120gig drops to 200 bux. PS3 will stay in 3rd ofcoarse.
my friends last 5 to 6 played games like on the old dashboard! WHY did they change that? It pisses me off that I cant see that without digging through the dash.

this whole process has been done backwards. They are so busy releasing paid Demos, crappy unpaid demos, and trailer after trailer of 2/3 ingame 1/3 fake footage that they can't seem to find time to finish the game.
I am NOT complaining just to be some 360 fanboy, I am genuinely looking forward to this game, Im getting a PS3 when it launches, but this is ridiculous.
One problem though, it looks more like Forza III every time we see new footage.
Before the delay GT5 looked more gray, less vivid colors than Forza, now the car colors have the same pop that Forza has, most of you called it fake looking when only Forza had that look, now that GT5 went back to the drawing board to copy the look presumably because folks in the real world(anywhere outside of N4G) complained GT5 graphics were nothing special, you guys claim it's an improvement. There is really only one must have additional content download for Forza 3, the others are meh, and the additional track one outright sucks. Hardly enough in total to call another half a game.
Even if you downloaded all the Forza content on live it wouldn't take an hour. I downloaded a 1080p movie the other day and it didn't take an hour, it looked better than half my blurays by the way.

It doesn't take an hour to download anything on XBL, and Forza 3 has no mandatory installs other than the 15 second to both download and install game update.
One problem with your logic, if you see me in a PS3 game article, arguing with people, it is not to bash the PS3 game being discussed, but rather, most likely I am there confronting liars who are making grand claims like, "this will rape everything on Xsucks3sh*tty," or "crapbox could never run this game, it would RROD". personal preference and choice. People can like and get excited about what they want, why does it bother you?
I played Killzone 2 and thought it was a pile of poo, but I understand it was the best thing on PS3 at the time and PS3 fans were excited about it, no skin off my back, if your a true gamer you should be happy other gamers are getting excited so long as it doesn't effect you.

not an issue on the level of RROD, and folks should probably stop pretending it is. After all, PS3 has an issue near the scope of RROD, its the YLOD, and the reason that issue has not been resolved is because people don't complain enough! Sony is continuing to push the 3% failure rate lie, and people actually cover for them instead speaking up.
If you know 10 people with PS3s and 5 of them have been returned for YLOD issues, something tells me the failure rate is a little higher...

He was fooling with you guys, and look, I get already two suckers coming out of the woodwork defending the PSN with evidence of XBL down time, links and all! Wow, relax guys. You do get what you pay for though. If it costs too much money, don't expect Sony to spend too much trying to get the service up ASAP, its just not worth it for them. And since you guys would never complain, (because Sony can do no wrong) they have no real reason to go beyond a certain cost to get this issue resolved.
